FOUNDING OF NEA EKKLESIA
New ones called out of the world by God
Nea Ekklesia, pronounced as nē ek-klā-sē’-ä (or “knee” and “eck-klay-see-ah”), literally translates to “New Church” in English. However, the greek word Ekklesia, was selected by Jewish monks about the 3-4th BC when selecting a word to describe the assembly of God’s people and literally meant to “herold” or “call” the people out. In the greek culture the word was used to denote being called out of your homes or businesses into an official assembly for civic duty. However, in the context of Holy Scripture the word accurately describes the “God who calls you out of your bondage”. To the Jewish monks this meant “Egypt” but to the Nea Ekklesia this means the World and Sin.
Nea Ekklesia was founded for the purpose of teaching our generation about the God of the Bible and providing a place and community for those whose hearts he has touched.
Nea Ekklesia was incorporated in the State of Florida as a Church on November, 9th 2018.
Jesus Bless You!
